BikeGPX provides a solution for navigating pre-defined rides, including charity events, sportives, and audaxes, using GPX files shared by event organizers or routes planned in advance. Key features include:

Easily transfer GPX files from your Mac or PC to your phone without the need for an account
Off Route Alarm alerts you with a sound if you deviate from the planned route
On-screen Elevation Graph displays upcoming major climbs (available through in-app purchase)
Sharp Turn Alarm warns you of imminent sharp turns with a sound alert (available through in-app purchase)
Route ahead highlighting guides you at overlapping sections of the route
User accounts grant access to your routes across multiple devices
Routing functionality persists when the app is in the background or phone is in sleep mode
Optional track recording enables exporting completed rides as GPX files
Compatibility with Bluetooth speed/cadence sensors, heart rate monitors, and power meters

Note: Continuous use of GPS in the background can significantly impact battery life.
